Dear You,

I knew this will not be so original. Because a lot of girls in blogosphere is doing this, But I thought it wouldn’t be fair if the future men in their lives would get those awesome letters and you won’t.

You’d surely feel cheated.It might make you feel bad and though I haven’t met you yet, I’m pretty sure I’d feel bad too.

I wonder where we will meet.Will I bump on you in a bar?Drunk and smelling like the nth shot I took?(Not that I frequent bars these days).Will I see you in the bookstore?Reading a book I so wanted to read too?Or perhaps on the streets when I am wearing a cute tee for a change and my hair is all sleek and shiny?


I wonder how how your voice will sound like.A bedroom voice?Husky?Hopefully not high-pitch. But if it is, we’d just probably laugh it off anyway.

I hope you will have a nice sense of humor which can make me laugh even when the sky is falling. I am not the funniest girl in the block so your comic timing and punchline should suffice for the two of us.


I’m not sure if I’d prefer you tall or not. If I’d rather that you have big,mascular arms or soft, flabby ones. I just knew your arms would feel warm and they would scare my personal demons away.

I can’t work out your face too. I sometimes like chinky eyes and sometimes almond-shaped ones. I am a sucker for long lashes though but its fine if you don’t have them.I think your nose will be the shape of a man’s, not delicate.And your lips, I have yet to know how it would feel against mine.

But surely, we’ll kiss and make up afterwards.

Your future half

I will try to write a review, kindly note that 'trying' is different from 'actually' writing one. Trying is more forgivable,like, if I have one too many fragments or I violate an SVA rule or two, its quite forgivable.

Not to stress the obvious but as you can see from the JPEG image above courtesy of Google, I will try to write a review on the film Beastly.

This is a modern adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, starring Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens and (oh yeah)Mary Kate Olsen as the witch and directed by Daniel Barnz.

It bothers me at first that Rotten Tomatoes only gave this flick a three. Personally, I think its a four or five.Being that the first half made me almost wish I did not watch this movie at all. What with the crappy dialogues and plain sequence, there was a moment or when my finger is just itching to click the stop button.

But then, on that scene where they were reading a poem entittled 'Have a Coke with Me' by Frank 'O hara. I honestly think the movie redeemed itself a bit. Okay fine,so I’m the chick who digs poetry and I may be a little partial but its kinda sweet. I also like the part where they went to the zoo and watched that elephant movie.Almost dramatic but the musical direction sucks.The ending was pretty alright too and the final confession scene, the dialogues have improved immensely.


So you see its not so rotten after all.Had they chosen somebody else who has better acting skills than Ms. Olsen,I might even give them a six.

This is such a happy day. I finally got a call bright and early in the morning from Ms. Grace. She said my MS got okayed which was great! I submitted it last Christmas, got asked to revised it twice and finally, today, the seventh day of the seventh month, it got approved.

So many things have been going on in my life right now that this is just what I need.Oh, let me do my happy dance, lolz

THINGS THAT I DID RECENTLY:
*submitted my resiganation letter on Saturday morning(see?I told you I'm not all-talk)
*been active to twitter, shall I say, more than necessary(I just counted my twentieth tweet for the day as we speak)
*was halfway through my MS, I just need...ahm...5,000 more words and then a migraine-causing-alcohol-prompting-cigarette-inducing editing and I'm done. I have to tell you the its sounded less worse than it actually is.But hey, I did sign up for this so who's complaining?not me. But I still swear the blinking cursor in an insult to my 'alleged' writing prowess.
*Saw HP 7. I wanted to say that after HP 1 , this comes number 2 on my fave list. Why?because it was about 60% faithful to the book. I would still appreciate if they stick on Hedwig being killed while inside the cage compared to being cursed to death by some wizard or seeing Fleur and Bill's shell cottage when they escaped from the manor. I would also love to see Kreacher warming towards Harry when he was finally acknowledged for his loyalty to RAB.I'm not sure if it's just me, but I find their acting a little too off. When Hermione was being tortured by Bellatrix, I find their reactions mercifully lacking or maybe I'm just expecting too much. Anyway, I love that scene where Hermione and Harry danced, I also love their Horcrux image who kissed in front of Ron.Sounds like I want them to end up together, diba?haha. Too bad JK paired Harry with Ginny instead. They say, you can't have your cake and eat it too.From an HP fan perspective, I know this to be true.
*Saw My Amnesia Girl too.JL's acting is remarkably good. I'm not a JL fan but he's definitely one of the best actors of his generation. His "Apollo" character is charmante in more ways than one. Toni G is still her funny, witty persona. If the aim of the movie is to spread good vibes then, for the sake of argument, it had been successful in that aspect. The film wasn't perpect though but it was more on the material than the actors. I somehow feel that if say, the plot thickens a bit on the middle, it could have rivaled "One More Chance" , one of my my most fave Star Cinema film ever. But no, the story remained superficial with no definite climax.
*PLAN,PLAN, PLAN-I have a lot of major and minor plans for 2011. Plans that include tattoos, lomos,columns, MS,language classes, worshops, seminars and so much more. I'm a bit scared to be taking on more than I can chew but I'd say,pile them up and ditch the extras later. I love crazy variety, anyway.

I also like how Melai Cantiveros breaks the streotypes in advertising. I'm not sure if this applies anywhere else but on the Bench billboard at Balintawak, Melai had been their model for three consecutive times in a  row.
