first day of shoot
I woke up late and had to dash to school after a quick shower. I want to blame my crappy shift last night while I ran like Forrest Gump on UE grounds. Fatigue had finally gotten to me and I slept like baby as soon as my back found the matress around seven o'clock this AM, I woke up with a start at 12 noon. Dang!I missed my morning class and my imagination ran wild while thoughts of upset classmates torture me silly. But of course, I cannot tell them that---my classmates who had probably never worked a day in their lives won't understand stress even I have to spell it out like a smart-ass. Especially not when this is the first shoot of the documentary we are filming.Yikes!
In between catching my breath and my Nth pfofanity I caught up with the group---not in UE---but inTropical Hut Monumento. Maybe it was the my harried look(with less than 30 minutes of dress-up time, puh-leez don't expect a Red Carpet do) but they decided to let my tardiness slide. Within no time , the group split into two and I went with Carlos,Jane and Lance (our subject) to UP Diliman to scout a perfect location.
Adjacent to this ahm...nerdy statue in the lagoon, Lance sat in lotus position while he spill all the beans he could...all the skeletons in the closet while we scribbled, recorded and hoped that we did all the things we should.
Signing off,
