iron man 2

IRON MAN 2
mood: happy

I love the first Iron Man flick but I'm more in love with Iron Man II. Oh yesssssssssss!Tony Stark is back and even more brillant and cockier than ever. I officially declare myself a Robert Downey Jr. fan, haha=). I never did like movie series, perhaps because the first installment is almost always the best and the other films only pale into comparison. I must admit that after the Harry Potter and Twilight series, I've become more cynical. You see,I have always been a visual person---ergo--there is nothing, absolutely nothing I hate more than sitting out a pathetic movie or reading a nonsensical book. These are my pet peeves, I could rant about them forever. Anyway, Iron Man II(Thank God!) had been an absolute visual delight. I like how Pepper becomes the unconventional leading lady.Who says only girls with silicon cup d's and perfect face symmetry can be kissed senseless by heroes?hah!I like how Tony Stark fought alongside his best male bud!I mean, sure, this second movie has Don Cheadle to play that role but its forgivable and can easily be overlooked. I bet the third movie will have Mr.Hammer as the main villain though,he really has it coming.

I like watching superhero films becaus
e of their predictability. We all knew that the good guys always win no matter how impossibe or huge their predicament appear to be. I do not need to possess an analytical mind just so I can figure out what will happen next. Sometimes it's nice to forget that all the horrors of the world we live in cannot be solved by magic and super powers. Sometimes its nice have faith in a make-believe reality where evil never triumphs and harsh truths are about as unreal as our nightmares. But as soon as the film credit shows up we are ejected back to the very reality we have forgotten for a good 126 minutes. But I had an unbelievably great time watching the movie, so no complaints there.
